Love Like Dakota was founded in 2020 by Kristie Cummins after experiencing the loss of her son, Dakota. Recognizing the need for a local organization dedicated to helping families that have experienced sudden loss, Love Like Dakota was formed in honor of Dakota. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, helping individuals cover funeral expenses and counseling services.
