Love Remains — Created by Love Like Dakota

Introduction
Love Remains offers a personal space to remember loved ones, reflect, and find encouragement while navigating grief. We respect the sensitive nature of the memories you choose to preserve.
Memories stored on your device
Memories, tributes, reflections, and other content you enter into Love Remains are stored locally on your device. This content is not automatically uploaded to Love Like Dakota's servers or shared with other app users.
Optional exports and backups
You may choose to export your information to your phone, Google Drive, or another destination supported by your device. Exports are initiated by you. If you choose a third-party service, its own privacy and security policies govern the information you save there. Love Like Dakota does not automatically receive your exported files.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling or clearing data may permanently erase content that you have not backed up. Any exported copies must be managed and deleted separately wherever you saved them.
Permissions and service providers
When you choose to export or share information, Love Remains may use your device's file picker or sharing features and the destination services you select. Device and platform services may process technical information under their own privacy terms. We will update this policy if app features or data practices change.
Security
Protect your device with a screen lock and store backups securely. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free.
Children's privacy
Love Remains is intended as a grief and remembrance resource. Parents and guardians should supervise use by children. This policy will be updated as needed to reflect the app's final age designation and applicable requirements.

We may update this policy when our app or privacy practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
